I♥Faces: Fix It Friday

Another round of Fix-It Friday. I don't think I did this photo justice....at least compared to the fixes featured here.

SOOC (Original)

My fix

Other than a few blemishes, I really didn't do much to this photo. I changed the background color (something quite different from my usual), I sharpened her eyes a bit, and cropped the photo. Check out the contributor's fixes. My favorite is where the contributor cropped and rotated the image.

Great job! How fun this image gets with a funky background color! Like you, my fave fix it was the creatively cropped, ethereal one! Awesome!

Teresa Norris has consistently been my favorite contributer too. She has quite a way of make changes without making the photo look fake.

I love the changes you made too. The coloring gives the photo a funky feel. Give yourself some credit. You did a very nice job!

Thanks so much for your nice comments, ladies! But I came here to admire your work...I also really like the colors you've done. It gives the background a dramatic look, but the skin tones are still really nice. I love the overall feeling your fix gave to the photo.

It's so fun seeing my daughter's face "fixed up" all over the web. :) I think you're doing a great job and I'm so glad you played along!

About This Blog

My name is Mary and I'm a working mom with two beautiful children. I've worked for over seven years at a credit union, currently as an administrative assistant. Last fall, I went back to school and started on a Bachelors in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Elementary Education.

My hobbies, when I have time, include photography, sewing, photo processing, digital scrapbook, online gaming, reading, role playing games like DnD, and board games. But what I really love doing is just being a mom to my two children, Tristan and Melayna.

Tristan, whois four, is an awesome big brother and such an intelligent little boy. He loves Transformers, animals, Dr. Seuss books, and eating.

Melayna, who is one and a half, has definitely taught her momma patience. Unlike her easy going brother, she is curious and persistent. And if something stands in her way, she will definitely let you know her displeasure. Regardless, she is a sweetheart and daddy's little girl.
